A variety of other genera of CPs that don't form the main
bulk of my collection ...
 |
Aldovanda vesiculosa
- extremely difficult
and challenging plant to grow. My previous 2 attempts
failed, but I'll try again and again until I get the
hang of it! |
 |
Byblis liniflora
- very neat plant, but I'll try to get more
pictures of this one in full splendour. |
 |
Cephalotus follicularis - one of my
favourite pitcher plants. Absolutely charming little
traps, aren't they? |
 |
Utricularia aurea
- seedlings germinating
in test tube. This was a fluke. I meant to store the
seeds in water in the refrigerator, but they germinated
even before I remembered to take the test tube
downstairs. Oh well ... |
 |
A tankful of U.aurea. This was collected
from a ditch in Pontian, Malaysia. |
 |
Terrestrial Utricularia - U.longifolia
var. forgetiana on the left, and U.calycifica on the
right. |
 |
Brocchinea reducta
- the only officially-recognised
carnivorous bromeliad. This itself makes this plant most
interesting, for the plant really doesn't look too
spectacular on its own. |

Dying plants. Nooo .. not mine! (although
I've had my fair share in brutally murdering my first
flytrap) This was taken at a local nursery, in fact the
only nursery that sells CPs other than Nepenthes. The
plants are clearly not receiving enough sunlight, and
the Sarracenia in the foreground are quickly drying out.
That was in 1997. Now, 5 years later, plants still
die in their hands. =(

Many of these plants are for trade and/or sale! (No, not
the dying plants in the last picture though, so please do not
ask) Please visit the Marketplace
to view the latest selection of available mature plants I'm
offering. If you see something you like and I've not listed it
in the Marketplace,
do drop me a mail
and I'll make arrangements to have one of these plants ready
for you!
