Ah, yes. The beauties.

These plants are
D.muscipula
"Fine Tooth x Red". Excellent plants that
never did went dormant for years and still going strong,
producing huge traps. Indeed, it's the most consistent
producer of gigantic traps among all the varieties I
grow. The insides of the traps turn deep red in good
sunlight, very pretty indeed. I'm currently trying to
propagate more of these, so if you'd like to obtain a
plant, do email me to check if I have any extras. |

The classic
"typical" variety of VFT. Insides of traps
turn slightly pink in sunlight. This form depicted here
grows upright - I also grow another "typical"
clone that produces ground-hugging leaves
consistently.
Bottom picture shows 3 VFTs coming out
of dormancy.

"Green
Dragon" - supposedly a
cross between Akai Ryu and a normal typical flytrap, but
that I'm really not too sure of. Looks superb though,
and these produce huge traps too. |

MUTANT! Eeeks! A mutant! I
bought this one labelled as a normal "Typical"
flytrap, but it never did grow out, but multiplied and
multiplied and remained small. |
 |
"Akai Ryu",
the Red
Dragon. Very nice plant. I had a beautiful specimen a
few years back that produced huge 1.5" traps! |
 |
"Royal Red".
Nice
tall-growing plant, but not nearly as impressive as
"Akai Ryu" or "Green Dragon" in
terms of colouration. |
